UC Davis Leadership Giving Society

The Leadership Giving Society (LGS) honors a distinguished group of leaders, those with $50,000 or more in cumulative giving to any area university-wide. 

The university’s premier giving society, LGS consists of six recognition levels honoring increasing degrees of philanthropic leadership at UC Davis. Each contribution level offers additional benefits providing exclusive opportunities for greater involvement with the university.

Participation in this overarching society is concurrent with any other donor society or club across the university at the school, college or program level.

Donors who make contributions at the following gift levels are also recognized as members of the following gift clubs, and receive the following benefits:

UC Davis Advocate ($50,000 - $99,999)

Signature Fall Event - All members will receive an invitation to attend an exclusive event each fall to coincide with the start of the academic year.

Priority Communication - All members are privy to special communication from the chancellor and the university at large. As our closest donors, members will be the first to receive breaking university news.

UC Davis Champion ($100,000 - $249,999)

All benefits at the previous level plus:

Estate Planning Session - Discover more ways to realize your philanthropic goals with the professional team at UC Davis. The Planned Giving Office leads a discussion every other spring to help you explore and weigh the benefits of estate planning.

UC Davis Catalyst ($250,000 - $499,999)

All benefits at the previous level plus:

Custom UC Davis Experience - Take the opportunity to explore more of what UC Davis has to offer students and the community. You will be invited to participate in an interactive, behind-the-scenes experience offered once a year to gain a deeper understanding about what makes our university unique.

Chancellor's Partner ($500,000 - $999,999)

All benefits at the previous level plus:

Chancellor's Event Invitations - Members will receive invitations from the chancellor throughout the year to attend exclusive campus and regional events with special access to university leadership.

Chancellor's Laureate: Inventor Level ($1,000,000 - $9,999,999)

All benefits at the previous level plus:

Hospitality Service  - Members will receive access to special accommodations such as event pre-registration, customized campus tours, and university meeting room access. The service is also offered for general questions, concerns and requests. (All requests are subject to availability.)

Chancellor's Laureate: Visionary Level ($10,000,000+)

All benefits at the previous level plus:

Chancellor's Choice Publication - Members will receive a signed copy of a recent publication by faculty or alumni chosen by the chancellor each year.
