UC Davis Shields Society

The Peter J. and Carolee W. Shields Society recognizes the thoughtful generosity of those who have made planned gifts—regardless of their size—to UC Davis or UC Davis Health. Planned gifts include will provisions, life income gifts such as trusts, annuities or pooled income funds, retirement plan balances and life insurance policies.

Membership benefits include:

  • Invitation to our annual fall luncheon
  • Your name listed in perpetuity on the official Shields Society registry, if you so desire
  • A unique Shields Society pin and souvenir

The Heritage Society for Animals

Planned gifts directed to the School of Veterinary Medicine are recognized in the Heritage Society for Animals. An interactive honor roll in the entrance to our teaching hospital displays names of Heritage Society for Animals members (or the name of a special person or animal who you may want to honor). There are no fees or obligations associated with membership. It is simply our way of showing our appreciation to you as a special donor.
